" ... He went on and said that the Guardian news paper could have apostates working for them for all we know. I said, Oh, I never thought of that..."
That really is quite a statement. It is a good reason for you to examine further if the Guardian may have apostates working for it. Being as the Guardian is one of the sources of information you rely on to keep abreast with social events you will have to be careful but not necessarily reject it outright. You may want to ask the elder who suggested this to instruct you on how you will be able to determine if apostates are actually working for the paper. Tell him you are eager to examine all your sources of information and you will use his instructions to weed out any sources that are apostate. Perhaps you could ask if you could repeat his statement to other ears. It must have some truth to it or why would he utter the statement? You would want to assure him that he could not be guilty of slander if there is a basis of truth to his statement and not just something that he thought of at the moment.
give me my romeo; and, when he shall die, take him and cut him out in little stars, and he will make the face of heaven so finethat all the world will be in love with nightand pay no worship to the garish sun.. -- romeo and juliet 3 ii.
“And this our life, exempt from public haunt, finds tongues in trees, books in the running brooks, sermons in stones, and good in everything. I would not change it. As You Like It
heavy, heavy upon my failing heart weighs your aching need for my full and loving devotion.. i spend myself willingly on your behalf because, truly, your needs and wishes outstrip my own.. if i were young and wiry man, for you i'd scale a rock and brave a torrent.. yes, that is what i do, no thought of self,to save my love from daily peril.strength and life escape my soul whilesafety i afford your gasping heart.. it's no loss i gave my all to grantyou life and to bid mine adieu..
"...If I were young and wiry man, for you
I'd scale a rock..."
How safe is climbing?
According to a study published in the 2008 Volume 19 #2 Journal of Wilderness and Environmental Medicine, climbing is relatively safe, especially when compared with other outdoor pursuits like snowboarding, sledding, and skiing.
Study Conducted in 2004 and 2005
The study found that 72.1 injuries occurred among every 100,000 Americans, with 68.2% of injuries to males and 31.8% to females. Not surprisingly, the most dangerous outdoor sport is snowboarding, with 25.5% of all injuries, and most of those to young men.
Scaling a rock, just puppy love.
Snowboarding. Now that's true love.

the sea once held this youngster's heart within its mighty bosom.i loved and cherished the sea, stretching outward beyond infinity.
i took to the e'er dreary landscape, the dank surroundings soothing me, enveloping me in crawling mists that were more welcomed to me than the evaporating rays of a cavorting summer sun.i, however, am no longer that pensive lad who found comfort in the dark and cold and deep blue sea.
today, a man in the physical sense, i no longer possess that childlike fascination with my former abode.
That must have been 'quite a boy' to grow into such an amazing man.
Blessings on you brother!

No never, never I say. Begone vile thought, begone. Your youthful experience, your wide eyed wonder at adventures imagined, your fascination with the small and the great were an important part of who you are now. They designed the boy into the man.
very strange behavior by the attendants and elders after the duluth, ga, rc.
on the first link the attendants start to exit the arena, then line up and turn their backs on the street preachers.
(around the 6:00 mark).. elders and attendants after duluth rc.
"...they say I'm bumping into them. They're bumping into me. Guess what you liars. Liars have no place in the kingdom of God..."
Preaching, standing with backs to preacher, singing to drown out the preacher and now bumping the preacher.
Outrageous conduct. Preacher boldly preaches on !
dear friends, "my story"?
i lost touch with jw 1991 (i was declared "not to be associated with") and shortly after became a "born again christian".
i was recovering a difficult divorce (my love for 10 years / we were both jw) and was recovering myself.
So there is a woman on stage screaming 'Jesus, Jesus' and crowd of people screaming along with her. Is this what you mean by you found Jesus? I really doubt that Jesus would want to be in that room.
